CHARACTER AGE: 26
SPECIES: Witch
BACKGROUND & HISTORY: Grier grew up all over the US, but mostly in Washington State. Her family—dad, mom, sister, and twin brothers, and paternal grandmother—was very nomadic, picking up roots at the drop of a hat and moving to some place new and exciting. She is of Native American and Scottish descent. At 18, she trekked out on her own and put herself through business school—hoping to one day own her own tea shop and patisserie. Grier is still very close to her family, keeping up with phone calls and visits. She moved to Siren Cove after the death of her best friend, whom she met in college and lived with until her death. She needed a fresh start and Siren Cove called to her when she looked at the map.
PERSONALITY: Grier is a very glass-half-full person. She likes to see the good in people, but isn’t naive. She knows that some people can be less than good. She enjoys life and believes that life is what you make it. She enjoys being around and meeting new people.
OPINION OF THE RIVALRY: She has no knowledge of the rivalry, but she has always been the type to never take sides. As she has only lived in Siren Cove two months, she will learn of it later.
LIFESTYLE: Grier likes to live the simple life. While she is comfortable moneywise, she is always frugal. She lives in a small apartment filled with natural light and plants of all kinds, with a huge balcony she has converted to a greenhouse. She is bisexual and hasn’t been in a relationship in a few years due to a bad breakup.
POWERS & ABILITIES: Grier grew up with her paternal grandmother, who is also a witch. Grier’s powers are mainly plant-based—called plant manipulation, Arborkinesis, etc. She can make plants grow anywhere and anyhow. She has a powerful knack for teas, tonics, potions, and is very powerful, but only uses the more dangerous and powerful parts of her abilities for protection.
